Passive Struts for 99 Seville SLS

My 99 Seville's rear struts are leaking. The front struts are doing fine. My warranty covers front but not rear struts. The electronic struts are way to costly. I want to put Passive struts on the rear and when the fronts need replaced go with the electronic struts since its covered on warranty. Will this cause a problem with ride? Should I go with passive all the way around? Are the passive struts any good?

I used Arnott Industries passive struts on the front of my 94 while keeping the stock rears without a problem, and I'll do the same for my 98 when the time comes...

Check them out, their name is the same as their website minus the space between words... I didn't have any problems with their struts and they were a pretty cheap alternative at $300 a pair...

You won't notice any difference with passive struts unless you live in an area that has really bumpy roads. I notice a difference between my caddy and my other car but only on roads where the terrain(bumps) change a lot the caddy auto adjusts and my other cars don't , caddy almost makes the bumps go away , it's weird. other than that i don't notice any difference in handling or whatnot

I put them on my '99 STS with only one porblem, the signal on the DIC (driver information center) but I fixed that taking the sensor valves and wrapping the with tape, pluging them back to the car and hanging them with tie straps. Worked for ME.
