downlow
Guys I changed my coolant, a few weeks ago, only to discover that I used the regular Bars leak and not the gold, what is the difference, and should I get some gold and go ahead and add it anyway, what i used were not tablets just a power but it was Bars leak--also where is the gold added I added this to the radiator after half filling it with a 50/50 mix of coolant and distilled water. Caddyman
if it was the powder, then that was it. What you used is just fine. Just dont use any of the ones with aluminum, copper, or any kind of metal in them.

Ranger
Also, adding to the radiator is just fine. The only reason the Northstars are added to the radiator hose is because we don't have a "radiator cap".
