rmbaker47 Posted March 28, 2011 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 I just purchased a 1992 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with 35K miles and found that the seat power recliners on both front seats do not work - though I can hear the electric motors trying to work when I press both recliner switches. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get both power recliners working properly again? I have restored about 40 cars - mostly GM, so am very familiar with this type of repair work. Do I need to take the front 40/60 seats out of the car and clean and relubricate the mechanism or what? Detailed info including any mechanical drawings would help greatly. Thanks in advance.
