FlamingGoatBalls
So i was washing the car and set the hose on the top of the car for a moment and look at that! Same on both sides. Water was coing in at a steady stream and pooled up under my seats! Any thoughts?
Marika
Was this the first time you washed the car or the first time you've noticed this leak? Was the sunroof completely closed when you washed the car? That looks like way too much water to just be a simple leak. If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.
Regis
Either you have a bad seal around your sunroof and/ or the drain hoses are plugged. I'm going to assume you did have the sunroof closed all the way. That looks rough. I hate to see that happen. A hand held steam cleaner works well for removing stains like that i hear. FlamingGoatBalls
Yes the sunroof was completely closed. And its the 2983209831 time ive washed my car. 1st time it has happened. I would have noticed that much water in my car. Where is the water coming from? The rear window or somewhere else? I take it thats not normal...even if the car isnt moving. Regis
Here, read these. They all seem to have the same basic problem and the fixes are included. http://caddyinfo.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=3369&hl= http://caddyinfo.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=3120&hl= This last link isn't exactly your problem but it has nice pics of the trunk carpet pulled out so you can get an idea what Guru was talking about. The drain lines shouldn't be hard to find. FlamingGoatBalls
Thanks a lot guys...ill try it in the morning. I think the neighbors may call the cops or think weird things about me if they see me out at 3 am standing in my sunroof in my boxers with a flashlight and weed line. Logan
LA michigan....know it well....grew up in Okemos/ East Lansing... The drain tubes can be strange. Over time oils, grease, small debris, can partially clog the drain tubes. So they drain ok in a normal rain....but back up in a hard rain...or garden hose event. newbold1
Just curious... how did this turn out? Does your interior look okay now and did you figure out if the drain holes were the problem?
FlamingGoatBalls
SOrry it took me so long to reply. I used weed wacker line and cleared out the rear drains starting from under the car by the rear wheels. Everyting seems to be ok now. The interior of the car is ok i guess...with the exception of the seat belts wich wicked up water like a water wicker uping thing....yea....anyway i guess things worked out alright. Didnt have to spend any money just got some mysterious particles in my eyes from being under the car.
