Well folks I went with Akebono (ACT699)purchased from RockAuto (saved $30 even w/shipping)! These babies were impressive from the package. The quality was amazing from the film on the backing to the grease they supplied for the stainless shims. Been on for two weeks now and I could not be happier. Very smooth,super quiet and stopping power is awesome! If you too are interested in trying a different pad you may want to give these a shot. If these pads perform over time, as I believe they will, I'm sold on Akebono. Just thought I would pass on my experience.
