JasonA
No, but only because I don't drive it in the snow/salt. If I did, I'd have flaps on...if only in the winter. sprucegoose
I remember the days when the 1st thing I would do when I bought a different car was put some flaps on it! I really dont care for them myself anymore unless it is on one of my trucks or SUV's. My Eldorado doesn't seem to get side-spyayed too bad, unless the roads are really crappy. The car mfgs have done a better job of wheelwell design and chip resistant lower panels too I think... '09 Cadillac CTS-4 3.6 direct injection, 128 K mi. Regis
Give Me A BREAK! Mudflaps? On a Caddy? I'd like to see some of those gems! my .01 CadiKing, Just look under my Info and you'll see one of those "gems" LOL. Honestly I've never even thought about or noticed mud flaps on caddys until this morning. I was checking out some member cars and all of a sudden...... I noticed. Maybe this spring when all the junk has been washed off the roads I'll try it without the flaps. Who knows..... steppin out on the wild side. Don't know if anyone remembers from the old board but I also inquired about a low profile stone guard for my hood. I caught some flack over it but it's easy to cast stones (ok the pun was intended) when one has never experienced road salt the size of marbles and then have to shell out bucks to have the hood repainted every 1-2 years. Since i couldn't find a lexan or urethane shield that didn't look obnoxious I went with the 3M clear film along the front hood line. Invisible unless you're 2 feet away. Perhaps I should have went with one of those big ol straight up and down bug shields. Then I'd really have a gem. PAUL T
Not all of us live in concrete and asphalt covered roads. In West Virginia the mud flaps help keep the gravel from chipping the paint and rusting the body panels behind the fenders out. I have mudflaps on both my Caddy's due to the in-laws living about a mile up a half gravel half tar & chip and my parents living 2 miles up the same type of road. That is why my 94 Concours is dirty in the picture. You city folk ought come to the country once in a while and really get your Caddy's dirty. Regis
I hear you Paul. I take my caddy light offroading now and then when i go fishing. And if it rains.....oooooweeee you should see the mud fly. Well I just got done removing my flaps and I'll see if i like it or not. Frankly I don't notice a difference worth noting. The mud flaps i had on it weren't big and gawdy and they came with the car. No snow yet so I'll run around without the gems and see what i think. Ranger
The only reason I would even consider it it to protect my rocker panels, not the guy behind me but I can't bring myself to put them on a Cadillac. Especially mine!

Marika
Mud flaps??? eeeeeeeeeek!! LOL!! If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.

67coupedeville
Yea I need flaps because of constant gravel road driving. Yea for sure I would not like to have them but otherwise I will have sandblasted panels behind the front and rear wheel wells . Spence
