BodybyFisher
Bad gas? Can you get dry gas to take moisture out of tank? Did you check for codes? Sounds like a bad TPS, it creates a bog when bad like the old accelerator pump in a carb Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm

BodybyFisher
Look into dry gas, I believe it contains some sort of alcohol and it removes moisture and water from gas See this http://www.goldeagle.com/brands/heet/testimonials.aspx Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm

BodybyFisher
Explain what you mean by so i tried to unplug the tp sensor an take it around the block there was no change Did you unplug it? Did you unplug it and there was no change? If you did unplug the TPS, you should have gotten a code and it should have not shifted (TP Sensor OPEN), so there should have been a BIG change I believe that code you found is B2477 - Reverse Lamp Relay Shorted to Ground Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm

scott y
Ohhh Okay It's amazing what one out of place letter can do to those(like me) that aren"t very smart. Imagine my confusion if he were trying to explain a code to me and added or left out a number or letter

Imagine my confusion if he were trying to explain a code to me and added or left out a number or letter Hey Scott, I could be wrong, I have assumed here And you know what is means to assume? When I assume, I make an A** out of U and ME I just think this is a language difference, but I hope my assumption is correct Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
