I would say that if you jack up the front of thee car you might get access from behind the front bumper, but I think you might have more luck trying to unbolt the catch from the hood and pull the hood up to unlatch the latch. Been there before and Cadillacs arent very easy, Especially not the older ones as there is so much trim everywhere.
