BodybyFisher
Are you saying that this engine was run up to 6000 RPM?, is 1/min the same as Revolutions Per Minute? I am surprised that this vintage of engine could be revved to 6000 RPM... dmk9561
You're allowed to run US headlights there? I live in the US , but I use the European lights because the beam pattern is so much better. I can tell one from the other on sight. If you want to change them, both cars use the same lights, and they're also used on '97-'03 Corvettes, which is the easiest way for you to find them. dmk9561
DOT the lights are legal 1996 until.Do you know where to find E-approved lights. Sorry, I have a bad English The E-code lights should still be available through the GM dealers that sell and service Corvettes there. If you can buy Corvette or Cadillac parts through a regular Opel dealer, then you should be able to get these lights there, too. The part numbers are 16524063 for the left side 16524064 for the right. They do not come with wiring for the city lights, but they do have a hole for the city light. They use H4 bulbs, so you will need to change the wiring. I use a harness that plugs into the headlight wiring and the main power buss, then uses relays to provide better power to the bulbs. You can see much better at night, especially with high beams. You'll recognize this as your ordinary Euro beam pattern. And this is what they look like on the car. Only slightly different. A little darker and less "icy" looking, maybe a little meaner.
rockfangd
Oh that is hot. This generatioon of the cadillacs is my all time favorite. I adore that color on the seville, Looks very classy. Also very much like the landau ad spoiler on thte eldorado. The interior on that eldo looks mint. Can you post more pics of the Seville. I am really stuck with the 96 aand 97 interior but that eldorado would be an exception GM FAN FOREVER Nice, clean, luxury= fine automobile
