The undercoating came all out, and the shirt did not fade, shred, nothing...looks just like before the terrible ordeal all began . Gas...not only for burning . You know, the "old" drycleaning perc back in the day was petroleum based and not synthetic as it is now. Smells just like Kerosene. Some older old-school cleaners still use it. Many cleaners will use petroleum for cleaning just there suedes & leathers. The smell is way too obnoxious & the flashpoint is too low for me!
