ravenblack
I can set up the digital clock through the menu, and set the bass, mid and treble settings; then come back to the car an hour or a day later and the clock is gone, and the audio settings are back to factory default. Dealer found 17 codes in computer. Dealer said it was the battery. New battery did not solve the problem. Something seems to be causing an electrical interuption
winterset
I would check dirty battery terminals. Sometimes a new battery is put in without cleaning terminals. Second check the ground cables & make sure they are clean & tight. on the engine block & fenders. third check your fuses & make sure there is no dirt or corrosion in there. Yes, many codes usually points to a poor current flow from the battery on either the + or - side.
ravenblack
Thanks Old Timer, I'll check those items out. If I disconnect any of those will I need a code to reactivate the radio?
