Caddynut Posted September 15, 2004 Report Share Posted September 15, 2004 Bear with me on this description of the problem.... I am stumped. My A/C has been converted over to R-134 and has a good charge and works great...when it works. The compressor won't kick on when you first start the car after sitting for awhile and usually won't engage until the engine RPM's reach 2500 or over....then it kicks on....runs through its cycle...and kicks off and then won't kick back on until I rev the engine up to around 2500 RPM's so driving down the highway gets kind of anoying when you have to keep dropping the car out of overdrive and revving the engine up so you don't roast inside the car. Any suggestions on how to check this and what might be wrong with it?
