Loudog
Hello, So I don't have much experience with suspension with the exception of replacing my brothers springs on his Escort. My car 96 Seville has been making this noise for about a month and im not quite sure what it is. I took the wheels off this past weekend and did not visually see anything broken and I filled the grease fittings. I have included a video of the sound. Any suggestions on what I should do next or anything I can do to better diagnose the problem? Video here on youtube Thanks for your help. -Loudog
Cadillac Jim
Something like that should be pretty easy to find with the hood up and two people, one to push on the fender and the other to look around with a flashlight. A long tube like those used in fabric stores for rolls of cloth would help to localize the sound if you don't see it easily. I would start with the stabilizer links and the ends of the struts. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
