caddy1991
Had a factory trained mechanic with over 35 years experience work on my 1991 Eldorado. After spending an arm and a leg on a new compressor, accumulator the A/C would shut off in a short period of time. The "Factory Trained" mechanic became so confused, he brought the car to a Cadillac dealer. The dealer told me I had frayed wires under the dash, and all the codes were clear, car was good to go. After driving the car five miles, "low refrigerant, compressor off message. After reading a message on the boards, I pulled the codes myself. I replaced the A/C clutch relay........I haven't had a problem since.
