adallak
I have noticed a hissing sound coming from the front of the car every time I make close to 90 degree turns in a parking lot. I cannot say what's making the noise. Never heard it before. RWD steering system is still kind of new to me. Any input is appreciated. Bruce Nunnally
Normal unless you have some other symptoms besides. Really tight turns cut off the power steering pump from its reservoir and cause it to go into recirc mode, which makes a sound. Now I hear it even at lighter turns. The PS fluid level is fine, no leaks. It is not whine but rather shhhhhh sound.
