If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.

We should plan another get together for the tri-state area. What about it?

About a week ago, I was heading home from work on a 4-lane divided highway when I noticed a Toyota weaving all over the right lane and the shoulder. When I passed the Toyota, the lady driving was holding a cigarette in one hand and looking down at a cell phone....

I got around her and put some distance between us but caught the next traffic light red so I moved to the left lane. I noticed the Toyota was now in the left lane so I left about 3 car lemgths between my car and the car in front of me at the light all while watching the rearview mirror. It didn't like the Toyota was going to stop and I was just about ready to drive into the median and let her hit the car in front of me when she slammed her brakes on.

It is just common sense - why do these idiots need to text while driving??? I feel that 95% of ALL cell phone calls are unnecessary. Texting while driving seems to be worse than driving drunk.

I had the same situation on the interstate going around 75 mph. A girl was swerving all over the place and I made a quick pass and she was looking down and texting away. I put as much distance between us as soon as I could. She was really dangerous.
