CarlaValentine Posted April 20, 2010 Report Share Posted April 20, 2010 Honestly, if it were ME, if it wasn't a terrible leak (to the point of leaving puddles) I would leave it alone and check the oil level often. Having to add a little oil here and there is a LOT cheaper than paying to have it fixed, and it isn't going to damage anything as long as you don't let it get too low. KHE Posted April 20, 2010 Report Share Posted April 20, 2010 It is probably the oil manifold plate that is between the lower crankcase half and the oil pan. As Ranger said, the powertrain needs to be removed from the car. If it is not dripping to the ground, forget about it...
