Bruce Nunnally Posted April 14, 2010 Report Share Posted April 14, 2010 General Motors announced Wednesday it is providing millions of Vehicle Identification Numbers that that have open recalls to Carfax, which will allow consumers to check for free if their vehicle has a recall for which repairs have not been done. The move is a way to help customers have more confidence in shopping for a used GM vehicle and an additional way for owners to check on recalls.
