pcassar Posted March 14, 2010 Report Share Posted March 14, 2010 Hey Guys! I have a 2007 CTS V6 with the stock 18" wheel package. Stock tire size is 225-50-18 and performance all season tire support is severely lacking. I notice through other posts on here, and through running some numbers that 245-45-18s are like .2" (.5cm) shorter and .4" (1cm) wider than the stock tires. There are many many more choices for tires in this size. I know that the same year CTS-V uses the 245-45-18 as the stock tire size, but I don't know if the wheels are different from the regular CTS 18 inchers. Has anybody run a 245-45-18 on the stock 18" wheel? Were there any fitment or rubbing issues? Thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Bruce Nunnally Posted March 14, 2010 Report Share Posted March 14, 2010 The 2007 CTS-Vs used unique wheels that were P32 Wheels, 18" x 8.5" (45.7 cm x 21.6 cm) 7-spoke, 6-lug painted aluminum The 2007 CTS 18" wheels were 5-lug wheels, either N87 Wheels, 18" (45.7 cm) 9-spoke, polished aluminum 1 - Included and only available with (Y43) 3.6L V6 18" Wheel Performance Package. P40 Wheels, 18" (45.7 cm) Sport, 12-spoke, polished aluminum 1 - Included and only available with (R1Y) 3.6L V6 18" Wheel Sport Appearance Package. (P40) 18" (45.7 cm) Sport, 12-spoke, polished aluminum wheels replace (N87) 18" (45.7 cm) 9-spoke, polished aluminum wheels when (R1Y) 3.6L V6 18" Wheel Sport Appearance Package is ordered. Looks like the width is 8" on the CTS wheels vs the 8.5" width on the V wheels.
