Congrats to Capital Pontiac Buick Cadillac of Regina

Capital Pontiac Buick Cadillac of Regina sold more new and used cars and trucks than any other GM dealer in Canada last year.

As a result, Capital Pontiac was named GM Retailer of the Year for 2009 -- the first Saskatchewan dealership to earn this distinction.

Nancy Woodard, Western Canadian director for retail sales for GM, presented the award to Bruce Axelson, president of Capital Pontiac, and his staff Friday at the dealership at 4020 Rochdale Blvd.

Axelson said Capital Pontiac sold 2,800 new and used vehicles last year, aside from fleet sales, which was more than any other GM dealer in Canada, including bigger dealerships in Vancouver, Toronto or Montreal.

Axelson attributed his dealership's success to having a great staff and remaining focused on the customer.
