Bruce Nunnally
Walmart's clown commercial from Publicis & Hal Riney (posted below), which broke during Sunday's NFL playoffs, is so unlike the retail giant's usual image that it borders on weird self-mockery Read More: http://adweek.blogs.com/adfreak/2010/01/clown-scares-crap-out-of-kids-in-walmart-ad.html <embed src="http://c.brightcove.com/services/viewer/federated_f8/1125919467" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" flashVars="videoId=63146777001&playerId=1125919467&viewerSecureGatewayURL=https://console.brightcove.com/services/amfgateway&servicesURL=http://services.brightcove.com/services&cdnURL=http://admin.brightcove.com&domain=embed&autoStart=false&" base="http://admin.brightcove.com" name="flashObj" width="486" height="412" seamlesstabbing="false" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" swLiveConnect="true" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash"></embed> Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube

CarlaValentine
I saw this on TV a few days ago and was telling my downstairs neighbor about it. He's afraid of clowns. His response was "at least the clown gets hurt." I couldn't help but laugh. I don't see this commercial airing for very long, though I do find it amusing. My 6 year old son and 3 year old daughter both thought it was funny, but I can see it scaring a lot of kids. I teach my kids to find humor in most things, so they don't have many fears. It's kept me from having to chase away the "boogeyman" for 6 years now.
