I wanted to buy 2 Wix oil filters for my XJS this week and they tried to clip me for twice the shipping charge - one full UPS fee per oil filter esentially doubling my order. Unless they revise their shipping fees I'm finished with shopping at Rock Auto. And I've bought ahelluvalotta parts from them these past few years. I do intend to send them a nasty gram about this when I have a moment.

I look at it this way, locally it will cost me $72 for a Bosch O2 sensor for my wife's Monte Carlo, Rockauto wants $39 for a Denso O2 sensor plus $5 shipping or $44, im not in rush, so my decision is easy. If someone has a 5% off, Ill save $2. If I wanted it tomorrow, shipping would be $26 or a total of $65, STILL cheaper than I can get it locally.

I would not buy oil filters from them as you will pay a large proportion of the total cost in shipping

That should have showed up when you checked out. If it didn't it may just be a mistake. I'd give them a call.

If you click the link in my signature, there's a thread with rockauto discount codes. The last page should have the current ones.
