I have thought of detailing mine up all nice and shiny and entering it. No real reason...except... like you said....just because. If nothing else...it would maybe get me to spend a little time on it and get everything back to looking like showroom...or as close to it as possible. I have 75,000 miles on it. (except for the marker scribble someone put on the cloth top a week or so ago) The interior is a little rough. I'm going to hit the local scrap-yard in the spring to see if I can find a driver's seat for it, as the one that's in it has some rips in the leather. If I can't find one in perfect, or near perfect condition, then I will see about getting it re-covered at a shop.
