Once, the unveiling of a new full-size Cadillac would have been all about V-8 performance and chrome, but this year the boasts came from inside. "Designed from the inside out," is how Bryan Nesbitt, the designer-turned-Cadillac-brand-chief, described the Cadillac XTS Platinum concept. It is the lightly disguised large Caddy of the future, expected to replace both the STS and DTS sedans. "The interface and console are the new battleground," Mr. Lyon of G.M. said. "We have more guys working on that than the exteriors."
