Bruce Nunnally Posted December 13, 2009 Report Share Posted December 13, 2009 Sixty-one years after a new magazine, "Motor Trend," was launched and declared the 1949 Cadillac its first Car of the Year, a 1949 Cadillac Fast Back owned by Mary Lou Haygood and featured in a Herald Lifestyles article in 2007 was named the 2009 Motor Trend Car of the Year. Haygood learned of the honor when Tom Musson, who bought the car from her in June 2008 and had it transported to his home in Yorba Linda, Calif., called to tell her that the magazine dedicated six pages of photos of her Caddy in its January 2010 issue.
