All Season tire recommendations? 01 STS

Recommended Posts

Hey team!

I am absolutely clueless when it comes to tire knowledge.

I'm looking for good all season tires between $200 - $250 (Canadian) per tire.

Just got a flat and figured I'd replace all four. Tire size is P235/55RR17 for the STS.

Thanks for the help!

- I guess it would be personal preference but I'd like to know what everyone is riding on...

I think the Michelin Pilots are the most popular overall.

I have Nokian WR G2's from Kal Tire on my seville. They have near winter tire performance (if not better than some winter tires I've seen) and I have yet to hydro-plane on a rainy day in the summer.

They don't have the smoothest ride or silence the Michelin's do but are still very admirable and have a more desireable tread pattern than... And in our Canadian climate the heater noise over-powers the road noise 9 months a year, and the salt destroys our roads annually causing a rougher ride anyway.

So the difference isn't too noticeable other than great traction on ice and in deep snow.

I think I paid $190 per tire including mounting and balancing.
