David I believe with the memory package your mirrors can be commanded to angle downward to see the curb when you back up. Its possible something is wrong with yours or its mal adjusted See this http://www.cadillacfaq.com/stsfaq/answers/mirrorreverse.html Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
KHE
BBF is correct - when you shift into reverse, the mirror will move so you can see the curb. Once you shift into Drive, the mirror will go to the proper position. Does the mirror move properly in all directions when using the control on the door panel? It seems to be trying to move into another position. Anyone help me. Thanks!!! David My guess would be as BBF said, the mirror may be out of "adjustment". I would try moving it all the way down and then go out and "click" it UP "about 5 clicks" and I bet that would take care of it. Just my opinion. jackaroo12
i believe that the mirror is not properly adjusted so this is the cause of the problem or there is something wrong with the memory that controls the mirror. is this fixed?
