It hasn't, yet. This 2012 fiasco is merely scare tactics to sell books and movie tickets. So the Mayan calendar ends in 2012? So what? Were they supposed to make a calendar that went forever? Just because they didn't calculate a calender past 2012, doesn't mean that the world is going to end in 2012. It could have meant the pagan Mayan doing the calendar calculations, died, or maybe he got bored, or had a hot date, or he was hen-pecked by a foul mannered wife to, "stop making those silly calendars and get to work cleaning our dinner pottery!" Who knows? If the Mayan culture was, "so advanced", (as the fear mongers claim), how come their culture went extinct? How come they barbarically cut out people's hearts as live sacrifices to their pagan fantasy gods? "Advanced", my derriere. For anyone that gets sucked in by this fear mongering 2012 end of the world bologna, I ask them to give me all their money, since they wont be needing it when the world ends. There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion.
