ronstone
Are either of these components easy to remove and install? I'd like to clean out my idle speed sensor, but don't know where to begin--any instructions or guidelines would be helpful. Thanks, Ron S. 96 Concours
ronstone
bbobynski, Thank you for the reply. The symptoms I am experiencing is a high idle every now and then. Normally, I sit around 700 rpms at a stop light. Every once in awhile, after driving for a period of time, the idle jumps to 1200 rpms at a stop light. And once it's in this high idle, it usually stays this way until the car is shut down for a period of time. The behavior is not constant, it comes and goes. The codes that were reported were related to the throttle position sensor, so before I replace it, I wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I could do to clean or fix myself. Otherwise, I wanted to know how to replace this sensor. Bests, Ron
