Jeff
I recently changed plug wires on my 97 SLS. I somehow pulled the vac (can't spell vaccum... vacuum... ) line off of the fuel pressure regulator, and now it takes forever to crank it. Once in a while, I can hear the line start to whistle back near the firewall below the regulator, BUT I CAN'T FIND IT!! What do I look for? Where is the other end? Anything? Thanks again- Jeff
Ranger
The vacuum hose from the FPR runs to the throttle body.
JasonA
Jeff, it's a very short line, about 5" long, that runs down and to a small nipple on the side of the intake manifold, just behind the throttle body. Look at the large brake booster on the firewall behind the master cylinder. Looking at it from the front, at about the 10:00 position, there is a rather large (5/8" or so) vacuum line that runs down and connects to the intake manifold. Immediately below that connection is the small nipple where the FPR vacuum line connects. Jason(2001 STS, White Diamond) "When you turn your car on...does it return the favor?" Jeff
Thanks again Gentlemen. Here I go to look. That would make it hard to crank, wouldn't it?? Jeff
