Cadillac Poster ideas

Saw this note on slickdeals.net:

Artscow has 11x14 poster size prints for $3 with free shipping using coupon code 11X14PRINTS

so I put together this 11x14 poster using the tools on their site:

Fun for $3 shipped, although 11x14 is not 'poster' size really. Maybe do one with the CTS coupe, or an STS-V; hmm.

On the order screen they had a note about exceeding the coupon limit already (at 5,000 orders?), but I appear to be ordering 2 prints for $4.99 delivered, so that seems better than one might expect. We'll see if they adjust the order after receipt or other static.

I ordered the prints and the company says they are on the way now. That will give an indication of print quality etc.

  • 4 weeks later...

These arrived today. They look good; better than I was expecting. Ordered prints on Sept 16 arrived from Hong Kong on 10/15. They arrived rolled up in a tube, so I will need to frame them to flatten them out.

I wonder if self-adhesive foam board would really be the best compromise for these. Looks to be inexpensive, and in this case any frame could detract from the image anyway.

Besides, I hate paying more for a frame than for the print I am framing.

I agree with you... the frame might detract from the poster......

Thin foam board might be a good idea.

You might also try to "REAL GENTLY" roll them up "LOOSELY"... "BACKWARD" to take out part of the curl.
