I take it your just living with it for now and or did the fluid change resolve it? I have not had the slow engagement, since I keep the fluid up to the correct level. You might change the filters and fluid, but check the level first. I was experiencing the delayed engagement in very cold weather Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
BodybyFisher
Let us know how the fluid level is and if that fixes your problem, maybe while the car sat it leaked down... I had a pan gasket leak that I believe always caused my fluid to be low, since I replaced my filters, drained the side pan and replaced the filter seal, NOT a CORK gasket but a SEAL, its been fine, I have a 96 also Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
