Sixrodman
We have a 1994 Cadillac Sedan Deville. When we had a severe gas smell after fueling and our gas tank was removed and all gaskets replaced, the service ride control sensor light came on. I may be wrong but I feel one of the sensors may be loose or not hooked up. Also when I had my lincoln every time I got into the car you could tell the air ride system was working. Not the case in our caddy. Only once or twice have I ever heard the air ridr system kick in. The car seems to ride and corner fine. I had a better ride in my lincoln. Any thoughts on this? Also the gas smell problem was never fixed after 3 tries and $1600 - 1800 out the door by general motors garage. By the way I'm new to this site so all the help I can get would be great. Ranger
The gas smell may be from a rusted filler pipe. Somewhat common. As for the Srvice Ride Control message, pull the DTC's. The answer may lie there.
