A STRANGE OIL PROBLEM

I know, I have a dynasaur, :lol:, but I still love it, 6800 RPM is screaming wow... I gotta git me dat :lol: I suppose I should be takin it easy on the old girl, head gasket potential and all, but... Ill end up doing a timesert job, so its a WIN WIN.... I suppose :blink:

I think I've gotten to 80 and it was still in 2nd. Nice hard decel.

My STS will hit 81 before it hits third if youve got it punched.

I try to let off at about 78 or so to keep it from shifting to third when Im WOT.

The decel is nowhere near as strong if you let it shift to third and then back to second, it waits quite a while till it will downshift, Ill have to look at the speed before downshift next time I drive it.

Thanks for confirmed that Johah, probably the STS hits it at a higher speed, I am pretty sure I was at about 75 with the 275 hp varient

Now that I think about it, maybe it is 70 or 75.

Is yours the 275 hp version?
