Poobah
I recently bought an RKE "key fob" transmitter and need to program it. I printed out and read Anthony Haukap's reprogramming instructions but I am not clear on one point. I have only one transmitter. The instructions say, "if I have only one transmitter, use it as transmitter 1 and 2." Does this mean at step 4 I press the unlock button twice and then at step 6 I press the same unlock button on the same transmitter twice again as if it was the second transmitter? I just want to be sure I know what I am doing. Thanks, Happiness is owning a Cadillac with no codes.

Thanks, Just press the unlock button twice for one transmiter. do not repeat unless the programming did not work. you should hear the door locks operate for confirmation that the programming worked.
