gadi
Hi, we have a 1994 Deville, had a new starter put in, in the process the battery was disconnected, this was not a dealership mechanic, but trusted one, We've had this happen before, but can't remember the process went thru to reset. And can't afford to go back to dealership on this. So now it is blowing cold air out at the defrost on full blast, at the same time display with any numbers (except speed), just shows dashes, it will go to normal operation sometimes, but never know when or for how long. We know how to get into diagnostics at the display panel, and when we did the following codes come up: NO PCM CODES CODE I034 CURRENT CODE I037 CURRENT CODE I039 CURRENT Then it goes to PCM?, ICP?, ACP?, SIR? We gone so far as to get into and clear codes, and the ICP, we can get to ICP Data?, ICP imputs? & ICP Codes? But don't how to make sense of what we're seeing. And all of that does not help so far getting the heater to work again normally. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. Then we can tell our mechanic how to do this from now on. It's a small shop and they have computer diagnostics, scanner, but don't do much work like this. Any RESET Buttons????? ThankS!
Ranger
I034 ........................................ Loss of Powertrain Control Module Data I037 ...................................... Loss of Air Conditioning Programmer Data I039 .......................................... Loss of Road Sensing Suspension Data You should not have to reset anything after pulling battery power. It would appear that the above DTC's are from pulling power, but I don't know why they come back after being cleared.
