KHE
You could disconnect the negative battery cable but then you'll lose the fuel used and trip odometer values. The better way is to simultaneously press and hold the OFF and PASSENGER warmer buttons and when you see PCM? on the information center, push the fan up button. PCM CODES? will appear, push fan up, then CLEAR PCM CODES? will appear. Again, press fan up and the codes will be cleared. Press the AUTO button or turn off the ignition to exit the diagnostics. If your car doesn't have the dual zone climate control, then use the WARMER button on the climate control panel instead of the PASSENGER WARMER button. Cadillac Jim
When you get done clearing the PCM codes, you can clear the codes from other modules by exiting the user mode by pressing Info Reset, then pressing Off and Warmer again. When you get to PCM? select NO and go to the next module, then select YES until you get the "Clear Codes?" prompt and press YES to clear the codes on that module. Repeat until you have all the codes cleared. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
