Cam and Crankshaft sensors

The crank sensors are on the font, against the block under the exhaust manifold, and are quite low. The engine oil pressure indicator is below them. The cam sensor is on the rear head, on the right (passenger) end, just below the cam cover gasket on the rear of the head, with a small connector facing rearward.

These sensors very rarely give trouble on a 1993-1999 Northstar.

I have an image for the Cam Sensor posted on my web storage; image to large to post here.

Cam Sensor Location

The engine is out of the car, photo is looking from the passenger side, towards the rear head.

Not to bad to get at in the car, with a cold engine.

Both of the Crankshaft Position Sensors are located above the oil filter adapter.

PS

My web storage has a number of items for the 93' STS. You may find other items that interest you there.

Drive'em like you own 'em. - ....................04 DTS............................

If memory serves me correctly it is on the back end of the rear head, in the vicinity of the EGR valve. Someone will correct me if I am wrong.
Dislexia serves me well. I said left head instead of the right head, but corrected it an edit. Thanks.
