heater and display center lights

Recommended Posts

I have a 1990 Cadiallac Sedan Deville with about 112,000 miles on it. The display center lights quit illuminating and now the heater fan is not blowing. The heater was just fine before the lights went out. What do you think this could be. Thank you.

It sounds like either a fuse, ground connection, connector, or relay, in that order. Running the OBD codes might help; here's how:

Someone with a 1990 FSM can check the schematic and see what's common between the heater and center display lights, such as power to the heater controls.

Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
