I am trying to find a left rear door body side mldg, complete, for a 1996 deville concours. Please can anybody help or point me in the right direction. It seems like they moved all the stock of these to the bermuda triangle, they don't exist. Help please?

Have you tried a few auto body dealers? Sometimes they have access to this type of stuff. I think you are going to have difficulty because its a Concours

That said try this service

The rule of thumb at GM is...they will 'try' to have replacement parts available for 7 years after the model year run.

1996 is pushing 13 years. 2009's are being built now.

The 7 year rule is strickly internal. No Federal law or anything like that. No guarantees.

You might ask your dealer if they've checked with Vintage Parts. I'm not sure exactly who that is, but my local dealer has gotten me a few things through them.

Also consider the car-parts.com route. I got passenger side moldings for my 93 ETC from a recycler (over the phone and through the mail) and they were nice.

With a little perseverance you should be able to get your hands on one.

What about JunkYard Dog? I think it's junkyarddog.com. I've seen it mentioned on here, and I think they search all over the US.

WARNING: I'm a total car newbie, don't be surprised if I ask a stupid question! Just trying to learn.

Cheers!
