Cadillac Jim
Rock Auto lists window regulators for your car with motor for under $250.00 and there are people here who have changed them. This is definitely a job for a good DIY mechanic. You will need either a factory shop manual or someone to send you copies of pages out of one to get it done quickly and without struggles for things like finding the screws on the door panel and to do it right. There are lots of people with A/C experience, too. Take a little time and be more explicit about the A/C. I think that the first thing to do is to get a sniffer and find the leak. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. KHE
There are no "common" a/c leak points - you need to look the system over - if it is leaking as fast as you describe, you should be able to hear the leak.
