1992 seville sts rear air shocks

i just replaced the rear shocks on my seville sts and the air pump wont start. is there a relay for it and where is it? any pictures will help. If i cant get it going can i just replump and make them like an old pair of airshocks that i fill at the air station? thanks for your help

There is a fuse for the ELC system in the fuse panel. The relay is mounted on the compressor assembly. Every major component of the compressor is available as a service part and it is easily rebuilt.

which fuse panel? the one in the trunk? if so which fuse #? thanks for the relpy

If you have the owners manual out of the glove compartment, it will show you where that fuse is located

dont have it i have the hayns manual but it doenst show anything related to the airride suspention. will have to go to a dealer and see if i can get a copy.

let me look at my 91 manual and see what it says, the years are pretty much the same

Here is a scan of Fuse Centers (this came from a 1991 Seville FSM), check to see if its similar to your 92, my guess is that its very similar.

Anyway, aren't the fuse locations marked as to what they are?

See ELC COMP (electronic level control compressor) and ELC EXH (electronic level control exhaust solenoid). The ELC Exh comes into play to lower the rear of the car, its enables the exhaust relay on the compressor, so this is not your problem. Check ELC COMP.
