Cadillac Jim
Clear the codes and that should fix it. Here's how to get at the codes: http://www.caddyinfo.com/readingcodes.html -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. Ranger
Sounds like maybe a bad fluid level sensor or a bad connection at the plug.

BodybyFisher
Obvious question but is the fluid up to where it belongs? Since you changed your level sensor, look this wiring diagram over. The low brake switch grounds the circuit when the fluid is low. Hope this helps with your diagnostics Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
BodybyFisher
There is only one problem with that schematic. I have stared at it for quite some time and something does not makes sense. If you look, on the Information Center, the; brake, coolant, engine oil, inflatable restraint, SES lights get their power from G1 or circuit 139. The brake indicator light connects to the IPC at RT2, coming out of RT11 on the IPC, it goes directly to C201, via a flex ckt, into G12 on the C201 connector. C201 is a connector with 118 cavities. This connector C201, is behind LH side of I/P, right of steering column. Coming out of this connector on the other side at G1is a .8 TAN/WHT wire that goes to S248. At this point, I can not find S248's location in your from my manual, for some reason they don't note its location, but, according to the schematic above, the park brake switch, low brake fluid switch and the Ignition Switch bulb test (via start), can ground circuit 33 to turn on your light. Now be careful, this schematic is from 1991 Seville, your's could be slightly different. BECAUSE, you said you are getting a LOW BRAKE FLUID message, I don't see a facility on the schematic to cause a LOW BRAKE FLUID message. Are you getting a LOW BRAKE FLUID message on your DIC OR, a BRAKE light indicator? Bruce Nunnally
it*s says chek brake fluid and traction disabled . I change brake fluid sensor and wiring it*s okay Okay, so you have brake fluid in the reservoir? You changed the brake fluid sensor to a new, known good sensor? How did you check the wiring from the sensor back to the source? When was the brake fluid last changed? Could the brake fluid properties changed due to use in a way that causes the brake fluid sensor to give a false positive?
