KHE
They dont move back when I try to push them with a C-clamp.Cant replace pads or rotors until they move so any suggestions.Changed the front rotors and pads with no problems.... You need a tool called a brake cube that attached to a ratchet wrench. The piston is then turned clockwise to bottom it out in the bore. KHE
Remove the bolt that holds the parking brake cable in place on the knuckle - then you will have enough room to swing the caliper out of the way. Thank You very much......I will do that.... Make sure your pkng brake is off!! And forget that $10 brake cube. Totally worthless time water IMO. Use needle nose pliers. Turn the piston clockwise. So easy. Be careful though. Don't tear the rubber boot around the piston. With your user name being what it is I'd have to be hard pressed. I, however, do find it entertaining. The definition of an enthusiast is "a person filled with enthusiasm" or " one who is ardently attached to a cause, object, or pursuit." Then there is my personal favorite "one who tends to become ardently absorbed in an interest." I would call the last one fanatic, bordering on unhealthy. I think I'd rather be an enthusiast as opposed to a fanatic. CADS RULE DUDES! Alright Alright Alright...

You must have been lucky to turn the piston in with a pair of needle nose pliers... the pistons in both of my cars were very difficult to turn in - even with the tool. Ranger
I've done it with needle nose pliers, but the cube is cheap and easier. Opening the bleeder valve makes it easier yet.
