MAC
I just order front and back Performance Friction Carbon Metallic Brake Pads. I'm thinking about wasting some money and buying drilled rotors. I mainly bought the pads for longer life. I'm a little tired of replacing pads every 20,000 miles. Also, I hope they stop better. Texas Jim
What type (brand) of pad have you been using? I have almost 40,000 on my DTS ... still has the original pads. Maybe I need to check and see how much is left of them. I don't think I have ever used pads that didn't last longer than 20,000.

BigTyler
turns out i have a lifetime warrenty on my brake pads... and that the rotors and pads were replaced just in september. what else could be wrong?!
Ranger
Depending on the compound used in making the pads some just squeak. It's a vibration. If you have a lifetime warranty, take them back.
