Hi does anyone know where the oil filter is located exactly on a 1994 Seville SLS with a 4.6 engine Northstar. The book calls for a spin on filter and I have looked under and above and can not locate the filter. Thank you for your help

It's on the left side of the engine (engine faces passenger side). Just a little right of center. Get it up on ramps and have a look. It's right there and easy to see.

Hi thanks for your reply, Am I correct in saying it is against the firewall , ? between the 2 center cylinders? thanks again

No, the firewall side is the right side. It's toward the front. Once you know where it is, you can almost reach up and touch it if you have long arms just by lying on the ground in front of the car.

The oil filter is partially hidden behind the front crossmember. It is just to the right of center, forward of the oil pan, between the oil pan and the cross member.

The oil pan has a slight cut-out that the filter sits in.

If you draw a line straight forward from the oil drain plug, the filter will be just to the left of that line.
