Richard Thoma
I own a 2006 CTS 3.6 Sport and would like to upgrade the shock absorbers. Will the shocks from the CTS-V fit the regular CTS mounting points? I would like to use the base CTS-V shocks as opposed to the self leveling system, as the car will not be used on the track and don't want an overly stiff ride. Any assistance would be appreciated. Bruce Nunnally
Yes, I believe that the FE4 shocks and springs from the CTS-V are a direct swap. The optional CTS-V track shocks are the FG2 set. You can sometimes get great deals on the FE4 standard equipment shocks from a CTS-V owner who upgraded to the FG2 track shocks.
