kimphillips
We have been unable to find the turn signal relay to replace it. Can anyone tell me where to locate it because right now I have no turn signals? I have the new relay just no where to put it. Thanks
Cadillac Jim
On my Eldorado it's under the dash behind the speedometer. It's in a clip that is pushed onto a dashboard brace high into the dashboard space. It's hard to find it; I followed the wire from the light switch with my hand. I pulled it off with the clip, put the new one on the cable, put the clip on the new one, then put it back where the other one had been. You have to remove the quieting covers to the right and left of the steering wheel, and the plastic cover under the steering column. The factory shop manual says to remove only one of these covers but that is for people who know where the clicker is and can put their hand on it without looking for it. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
