lothos
Hi guys. What is this? I'm talking about the valve type thing with the metal cap that spins. It's on a vertical hose or line and is about an inch in front of and to the right of the EGR if you're looking from the front of the car. The cap on mine spins, and as you can see there's some black gunk under it that I don't remember being there before. So, what is this, what does it do, and what should I do about the black gunk? Thanks guys! P.S. I found a FSM for my car, vol 1 and 2, on ebay for 25 bucks shipped! Can't wait til it gets here lol WARNING: I'm a total car newbie, don't be surprised if I ask a stupid question! Regis
I always wondered what that thingy was. Thanks for posting that question. The amount of black gunk surrounding my cap makes yours look clean by comparison. Perhaps one day I'll scrape it off and use it for axle lube.
