Jim, maybe it's better or easier to go the first way I mentioned.

KEYWORDS- enter "96SLS whl. sensor Prob."

Most opf that page will be about your problem. Look through, example vern Jan. 13th.

I am sorry if I'm not making this clear, so I hope again this helps.

Vern if you can find the thread, copy the address and post it in your thread, you will link to it so that JIM can just click on it

As I said before, I am not very computor savey, but will try, thanks for the heads up, appreciated.

OK then, here is an good lesson for you (copy and paste)

1) highlight anything you want to copy

2) once its highlighted

3) press and hold the CONTROL (CRTL) key, then press the C key (C=copy)

4) what you have highlighted will go into your CLIP BOARD

5) go to where you want to insert that info

6) press and hold the CONTROL (CRTL) key, then press the V key (V=paste)

click Add Reply and you are done, Mike

By the way, if you highlight the URL line at the top of this page that starts with http://www.xxxx , you can also copy that link and put that into a caddyinfo thread. So when you find the link you are trying to give to JIM, copy that http line and paste it into the thread

O.K. heres where I'm at. In looking at jcobz28's power distribution schematitc from Nov 19 2007 I see that I have a hot red wire going into the ignition swtich and it changes to orange, also hot. so I drop the column and find the red wire, it does have 12v, also there is a blue wire it has 12v but the orange wire at the switch has 0.85v? AND if I jump 12v at the fuse panel to the abs fuse The abs light goes off and the turn signals work! The traction control light is still on but it may go off if I drive it? I didn't want to drive it with the jumper wire on. So I'm thinking its a bad ignition switch. What do you think? I don't want to just start buying parts. Also with the jumper wire on the abs fuse I have 12v at the orange wire.

Today I think I'm gonna look for more ground wires to clean. because this thing works if I jump power to it from another fuse.

I am all out of ideas. I found out that my local library has the service manuals for a 96 deville but they are on loan until april 20th. I'll just run a jumper wire from my cruise 10 amp fuse to my abs 10 amp fuse. It fires up my abs module and my turn signals work. Untill I can get those manuals.
